I’m up again woo!

Yeeeeehaw I’m back up! Miss me? I barely had any downtime thank goodness! And by the way… happy thanksgiving Canadians!
I had my fill of pumpkin pie today.. I skipped straight to dessert. No turkey, mashed potatoes or stuffing for me.. I was simply too lazy/scared to do it on my own. I’ve never made thanksgiving feast by myself, I was one of the lucky kids who’s mom did it all the time, spoiled! I think I might attempt it next year though, we’ll see!
So rewind to a few days ago, shopping day! I really need to start a class or something to keep track of what damn day it is, really. Anyway, went out shopping on a crisp post-summer day.. you know those days where the world has without telling you turned into chilly air and your brain is still thinking it’s shorts weather. I headed out for a day of shopping, and picked up a new bag and wallet finally!
On the way home I stopped at Toys R Us, admittedly for myself because I’ve been daydreaming about when I was a little girl and played with my barbies all the time. Someone tells me that’s my brain dealing with stress.. but I think it’s just me being a little kid. I’m the 23 year old who still goes outside when it’s raining to jump in the muddy rain puddles in the street out front of my house. Anyway, what a joke.. I found the only Barbie that resembled me, there was only ONE! Brown hair, brown eyes that was Caucasian, no wonder we’ve become a society of blonde-is-beautiful. Anyway she’s gorgeous and yes I play with her at my desk when I’m bored. She came with a little brush and bikini and shoes and big chunky black sunglasses like mine! I love being a kid
I also grabbed a couple little baby t-shirts for a friend who’s having a baby in December while I was there.. so I didn’t look like a creep at the checkout.
Plus they were on sale.. though I’m really not an expert at shopping for kiddies, ah they’ll fit him at some point in life!
Oh by the way, I just finished watching War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise, it’s an awesome movie! Definitely out of the norm for my movie watching, but it was good none-the-less.
So my question of the day for anyone who wants to answer is… why do you think we stop doing the "little kid" things we used to love? I had a fruit roll up the other day.. WOW memory lane! I loved these things, even though all it is is packaged sugar! I’ve never been one of those people who are so eager to grow up and act adult-like, I’ve been clinging to the things that have brought me joy since childhood.. like jumping in puddles, or playing games, or just eating weird school-lunch snacks. Do you still do these kinds of things? If you don’t, you should!

I am the biggest kid you’ll ever meet.
I love corndogs and fruit punch, grill cheese sandwiches and peanut butter.
and I have a thing for balls, always have. Everytime I go to the store and I go by the toy isle i end up buying another super ball or stress ball.
I think its probably because we didnt have much money growing up …who knows

Tennis balls are my favorite.. I always used to play catch with the boys in school, it was usually more fun than playing with the girls!
