This is my belly button. It does not feel good. lol I guess it doesn’t look too pretty either, forgive the puffy swollen from being cut look
I got my belly button pierced when I was 12 or 13, then again a few months later so it was straight (here’s some advice, don’t let your hairstylist pierce your belly button). Many moons have passed and I decided I didn’t want a belly ring anymore so I took it out for a few years and thought it would close up but apparently it had completely healed and was here to stay. A lot of photoshoots I’ve done with no belly ring, I just grew out of wanting one but the little scar there has bothered me for a while so I figured hey it would be a simple procedure right? Assuming this, I calmly go in and leave with a lot more stitches than I thought I’d have, and a swollen pissed off little belly button. Would I still do it if I knew of the pain? Hmm.. probably because I have a decent pain tolerance, it was most annoying giving people hugs or my shirt rubbing on it. This is a pretty picture as it’s healed a bit since last week lol I’ll leave the gore at home for you guys
I get my stitches out on Tuesday yipee! I’m not a fan of getting stitches out, but I bet it’ll be a little less painful than getting my scar removed heh. I’ve had a lot of piercings since my belly button but none have stayed as long and fortunately I have no scars like I had on my belly (I’m especially thankful because through my rebellious teen years most of my piercings were on my face).
Today started off sort of whack, I fell asleep around 4:30am and woke up around 8:50am with an angry tummy that wouldn’t let me sleep. I finally had a nap around 11am and here we are! I’m hoping to get in the shower to smell like roses once again and then my new mattress should be here! F U tempurpedic, I’m going old school back to a mattress I know (cross my fingers) I can trust. No pillow top, nothing fancy, individual pocket coil yeeeea I’m an excited lady. Then if it’s not blazing hot outside I think it’s time to introduce my bunny Jack to the wilderness and go for a hike in the forest. Excited!
