See the security camera? Heh there was one on the other side of the restaurant too Anyway, today I woke up to the mailman, whom I am in love with because he always brings me presents! My light computer glasses got here today and I am stoked! I’ve got a couple pair of fashion glasses when I go out and about but they’re the chunky kind that aren’t so good for the computer. I went on a mission to find glasses and almost gave up when I found my perfect pair! Ughh though, they were $440, and that’s BEFORE putting lenses in! That’s what you get for choosing a designer pair of glasses though I suppose, I just liked the sparkly rhinestones! Anyway I googled the model number and found them for $210 WOOT WOOT! I’m a thrify little shopper So now I’ve got to take them to my optometrist to put lenses in them which should take a week and then I’m set. I will be a happy, headache free lady when I spend time on the computer from then on.

So yesterday and today I’ve sort of been trying to get back to normal after my family left but it’s proving to be a little harder than I thought. It seems like I just can’t get things straight, like remembering to go to the bank or other little things. Thankfully it’s the weekend though so I busied myself cleaning the house today and plan on going shopping for a new coffee table tonight.

I got good news on Friday that I’ve been debating on sharing on my blog but I figure y’know what, I’m excited! I’m proud! And you al are so supportive and I think I’ll need it while I’m healing… anyway enough torture I’ve been approved (by the government) to go ahead and get my nose-fix-surgery! I needed government approval because it will be 100% paid for since it’s a medical surgery instead of a cosmetic surgery, and I am SOOO excited guys! I was in a car accident when I was 18 and broke my nose, and since I didn’t think it was broken I didn’t get a splint put on it Now I have trouble breathing, especially when allergy season hits. Now I need to pull up my socks and schedule the appointment but I am scurred to be honest. It’s going to f%#ing hurt! I will keep you guys updated (if you’d like) as things progress but hopefully that will be happening soon

I’m not sure why but I’m having a BLAST this weekend. I feel like I’ve got a renewed sense of life, if that made any sense I’m treating myself to things that I’ve been putting off (I bought a scooba!!) and it’s kind of nice just saying F it all I picked up some yum drink mixes, they kind of turned out blah so I’m going to buy new ones today, hopefully they taste a little better, these tasted off when I made margaritas last night. Do you have any fav drink mixes that you’d recommend?

Then I decided my house needed a little bit of color and cheer so I went looking for flowers for my front steps but could not find any I am going to go look again later this week at some greenhouses though, for some already potted flowers, I think I will have some luck.

Then I found some awesome rope lighting for behind the tv, and some for behind the bed that I haven’t gotten set up yet. Swanky hey?! It makes it a lot easier on my eyes while watching movies in a dark room at night I love it! I also got (at home depot) these switches, you plug one part into the wall outlet, and then plug the rope lighting into that, then you have a switch that you can put anywhere, it’s wireless, that will turn the rope lighting on and off. It’s SO rad, but more expensive than I thought at $40 per switch, and you can only have 2 in the house. That’s alright, it’ll keep me from going crazy with the rope lighting (it looks SO cool!)

I will take a photo of my bedroom once I’ve got the lights installed on the back of my headboard. Now I’m off to do my weekly recycling trip, and hopefully find some cushy flip flops to replace my super basic flat ones. Any foot fans wanting a pair of flip flops? hehehe Kisses!

I need a break guys, I feel like I could sleep for days right now! Well I’d probably wake up tomorrow and feel great but you know I did manage to get my butt to the store today and grab some things I needed, plus I wandered around and found this awesome shoe holder that I am now using for my sweaters that I wear in winter, they were taking up too much closet space and it’s pink! Don’t mind the rest of my messy closet, it’s getting organized don’t you worry. Also had to stop by and get my pic taken with the bear cause, well why not?

So this week is sort of a… OMG MUST DO EVERYTHING! type of week. I wish it wasn’t because I’m feeling overwhelmed, but there’s just so much to do. I finally had enough spare time to jump on and do a webcam chat with you guys though woo! It was fun I’m very happy that I’ve got enough time to hang out with you guys every week now. Anyway, on top of feeling the need to complete every task at hand righteffinnow, I took on the task of eating super duper healthy because well, Arizona was a non stop junk food run. My body is happy though, getting lots of healthy food, but I am at a loss when it comes time for lunch or supper as to what to make. I’ve been doing pho soup and salad rolls a lot, as well as this tasty dish for dinner. I think I need some more spices though or something to make it a little different tasting every night

Yep, sure am not doing that again

Talia was supposed to shoot today but we all are feeling horrible after last nights dominos.  I seriously haven’t felt this cruddy after eating something for a long long time.  I think we’re all going to just hang out today before Talia’s webcam chat this evening (yep my members have free access to her webcam shows too!) and take it eeeeeasy.  Guess what….. 1 more sleep until I get to see my JackJack again!!!!  Last night as I was trying to fall asleep I remembered how uneasy Jack was for the first week or two when we got home from AZ last time and I felt like the worst doggy-mama EVER for doing it to him again.  Maybe he won’t be as bad this time because he knows I’m coming back for him?  I don’t know.. but all I do know is that I can’t wait to have my little buddy sleep at my feet every night again soon   As much as I am not excited to get back to cold weather, I am excited to get back to land of moisture (it’s hella dry down here)!
