Bryci dish du jour – pb&j crackers!

Here’s a photo of my pick me up! I crave sweets a lot but sometimes it’s too late at night to run to the store for chocolate, so I make some peanut butter and jelly crackers! You might think I’m nuts, but this is one of my favorite dishes.. don’t knock it until you try it!
All you need is peanut butter, your favorite jam or jelly (I use grape jelly, it just matches) and some crackers.. unsalted or salted it doesn’t matter because you won’t be able to taste it anyway. I like more jelly than peanut butter, but make yours however you’d like. Let me know how it goes!
Wow, today has really been one of those days. I haven’t been sleeping very well the past 4-5 nights and I think that’s why I’m feeling out of it lately. Today’s been really bad though, it seems like my brain is only capable of watching paint dry. The world seems like it’s going too fast for me today, and I just want to crawl back in bed!
We went out today for some sushi and again, I think it’s because I haven’t been sleeping well but I haven’t been hungry all day today or yesterday, so the sushi was kind of bland. I don’t know what’s up with me! Then I slid around the mall to the video game store, damn boots are too slippery.. and picked up the new Street Fighter that came out today. Then stopped for some new makeup on the way home, and here I am! Now I’m just hanging out in the BellaForum, they went live yesterday and I’m having lots of fun in there so far! haha my initial reaction to this post…”Oh Shit NO WAY! THAT’S AWESOME… MMM Peanut Butter and Jelly Crackers” haha that takes me back. So much better then PB&J Sammiches but more prep work.
haha I hear ya on the sleep thing. I try to be a day person but I always end up going back to my up all night Habit and am usually in a less then happy mood the rest of the day. You deff dont want to do the stay up for a day and get back to a normal sleep schedule thing I do.

I pretty much add peanut butter to everything. Chocolate, ice cream, oatmeal, crackers, some recipes that call for regular butter i can make a healthier switch for peanut butter… yeah. I have a peanut butter problem but I’m told the first step to recover is admitting you have an issue. I am addicted to peanut butter

I like to eat the same thing, Bryci! The only difference is that I use strawberry or blackberry jelly/jam sometimes grape and I put the 2 crackers together kind of like making a sandwich. I thought I was kind of strange by eating these things, but now I find out I’m not alone. lol.
Since you like grape jelly/jam, try blackberry and see what you think. After I started eating the blackberry, I actually like it better than grape.

Ooo I will definitely try that! Some of my favorites are raspberry, rhubarb, blueberry!
