Today definitely feels like Monday, we had a big outdoor shooting day planned today because we thought it was going to be sunny but mother nature decided it’s time to rain and make things green, so we’re postponed a day unfortunately. Ah well, I’ve got my pretty flowers on my desk to remind me of spring, and this way I’ve got all day today to plan out some great outfits for shooting tomorrow. Right now though my bum is still lazy, and I’m sitting at my computer in my pj’s with no contacts in reminding myself that since today is Sunday and I have no work to do maybe it’s cartoon day!

This one is just as much for the boys as it is for the girls. I’ve been using some sort of exfoliating tool in the shower for years and years now, but only in the past year have I tried exfoliating mitts. Before that I swore by my loofah, but you couldn’t properly wash it and it held onto water for hours so you’d have to replace it often. I found exfoliating gloves and I won’t look back, you can wash them and get into small spots like the sides of your nose that loofahs won’t fit into. I’ve personally found that they work best when they are dry and if you’re doing your face that your face is relatively dry (you haven’t been in the shower for eons soaking up the steam in other words). For my body I simply throw these gloves on, put some body wash on top and go to town. I do my body every other day (most people/places will tell you once a week is good, but I like having super smooth skin for photos!), but I only do my face once a week and very lightly. I was once told to treat the skin on your face like vintage silk, it’s delicate! Exfoliating clears away dead skin cells letting your skin breathe and it helps keep acne away because your pores aren’t blocked.  Plus I love running my hands over super soft skin so boys go pick some of these up, they work just as good for you!   

Ok well it’s not actually movie night tonight, but this is the set that is going live on my members side today It’s cute and sexy at the same time, plus I LOVE shoots that are messy, I think they’re right behind outdoor shoots. Something naughty about gettin’ messy and dirty! Yesterday after we were finished shooting we had a trip down to Value Village because I absolutely love thrift store shopping. It’s like an adult treasure hunt, so much fun! Sometimes you come away with some great stuff, other times not so much.. but yesterday we picked up a picnic basket.. do I see an excuse for an outdoor naughty picnic photoshoot this summer? I didn’t get to sleep until around 1:30am for the second night in a row, ick. Today I’m hoping it’s nice weather this afternoon so I can go for a bike ride or take Jack to the park and run around with him so I’m nice and tired come 11 or 12 tonight

I never really was a magazine reader until recently, I’ve begun reading fitness magazines and I love all the little tips and tricks. A member asked me to pick up a UK cosmo for a photoshoot that I’ll be doing soon and I’ve been reading through that at bedtime and it’s neat to see the difference in some word choices. “Blokes” for example Before I started meditating before bedtime I would read and read and read which was great, but I enjoy reading so much that I’d read myself to the great suspenseful part of the book and then not be able to stop until the whole book was done and damn now it’s way past bedtime. So magazines are a great way for me to unwind before bed, you should give it a try! It’s nice to sort of put your days stresses or worries on pause while you lose yourself in whatever you’re reading, plus magazines aren’t as engaging as a novel After I was done shooting today I picked up a bunch of new magazines and I can’t wait for bed so I’m off to go read them all now.

If I had an office job and Katie was a co-worker, you better believe this is what we’d be doing after the office I love this photoshoot, the colors, the details, and um it’s kinda hot too. This photoshoot just went live on my site today.

In other news, I’m still on my unproductive creativity slump, it’s frusterating and feels like I have no vision. Some days I can rip through pages on my sketch book and the creativity just flows, but lately it’s just not there. So I decided I’ll focus on another aspect of work that I always feel creative in, shooting! I’m planning a photoshoot day on Wednesday where I can have some fun and get wild. I need to sit down and plan out some outfits, and ideas for shoots, and hopefully I will get to wear a lot of things that you guys have bought for me off my wishlist!
