It’s time to celebrate

2009 was a fantastic year (I got to meet all of you!) and I had a lot of fun, learned a lot of things, met a lot of great new friends and I’m hoping 2010 will be just as awesome. I don’t have any resolutions for 2010, keep on keepin’ on and try to live a happy relaxed life. Jack is helping me to do both, he makes me laugh when he’s a tard and he gets me outside for fresh air and off my computer which relaxes me so I’m set. Tonight to celebrate, since Jack is still just a puppy we’re staying in with him to party hard, and making lots of yummy drinks! This one is made with my favorite wine. You put vanilla ice cream in the bottom of a wine glass and let it melt just a bit, then add a few ounces of wine. It’s like a wine smoothie, just be sure to add a little more ice cream than I added in this photo. Add pizza and lets bring in the new year!

Fish for breakfast

Not for me ick, for Jack! I was reading Rachel Aziani’s blog and she mentioned that she cooks her dogs food all the time, and I started reading up more on it and sure enough common sense bunny says hello. You can feed your dog basic things they’d find in the wild, meats and fruits and veggies (with a few exceptions). In my freezer I’ve got an excess of frozen salmon and it’s just not my thing so I cooked up a salmon fillet for Jack this morning, and watched him eat like there’s no tomorrow. I’d go nuts too if I regularly ate dog food, yuck! As long as the meats don’t have any spices or seasonings on them your puppy should be good to go. It seems my life has turned into taking care of puppy lately, but at least he gets me off of my computer and out for fresh air! He finally got a bath, you’d think he was half fish the way he goes nuts whenever someone takes a bath or a shower. Running water? He’s there. He pushes his way into the bathroom and whimpers, so I got some safe shampoo and thought a bath would cure him of his love for water.. nope he just wants in even more!

Speaking of my blog..

Holidays has made me forget about work, I think a lot of people can say the same. It’s hard to think of responsibilities when there are movies and yummy goodies lying around.. not to mention my new fuzzy alarm clock is jammed at 7:30am but my body doesn’t want to go to bed before 1am. Honestly my world lately has been training doggy, taking care of him and playing and lots of walks. I’m getting a lot more fresh air, a lot more exersize and I’ve been sleeping like a baby lately which is nice! Plus I’ve added afternoon naps to help me get through the day, thankfully doggy enjoys afternoon naps as well. Tomorrow I jump back into the game, I’ve got a photoshoot and video planned for my lovely members! Maybe I will have to show off my pretty new years eve outfit, what do you think?

I just wanted to take a quick break out of todays festivities to wish all my lovely members and fans who read my blog a very merry Christmas (or whatever you celebrate)! Today is a pretty relax day for us, puppy was our Christmas present to each other and he rocks, he enjoys the wrapping he came in more than anything. We did get each other stocking stuffers, I got some gel sockies for bed, a gift certificate for a big spa thing (woohoo!) and a ton of chocolate heh. I got a special someone some super soft undies, a bunch of chocolate and some fun bedroom stuff ;) Turkey supper should be done around 5 and although it’s going to be a small one it’s going to be oh so good! Off for a nap with my boys, happy holidays everyone and remember if you’re celebrating with booze then taxi it! :)

An early Christmas

Woohoo! Christmas came early around here, we got a new little puppy! He’s a shih tzu and really calm (yey) and now our sleepless adventure begins. I kind of wish I weren’t feeling a little groggy and stuffed up and sleepy but hey it’s all good :) We haven’t chosen a name yet, I think both of us are just really tired so all I’m hoping for is a not-so-bad first night away from his usual bed. We loaded up with some puppy stuff, a new bed and a bone and some great food and even those squeaky tennis balls. Next up, a face haircut and a vet visit! Off to make some spaghetti and garlic bread for supper!
