Today is my birthday! Thats right folks I am officially 24 today and I sure don’t feel it! I’m still making sure I have fun everyday and am definitely a kid at heart, that’s where it matters hey? I enjoy getting older, it means I’ve had a lot of fun and met some great people and have made some wicked memories! I’m hoping to make 24 a crazy awesome year with lots of travel, some personal mental growth, and a ton of love. Hopefully this year I make some great decisions because 23 sure felt like a kick in the pants sometimes lol! I’m hoping with age comes wisdom. Today my birthday photoshoot went live, this is a photo from it.. I hope you enjoy the pics! I know I sure had fun taking them, I love any photoshoots that give me an excuse to eat sweets, and I even got a personalised cake out of the deal!

I saw this sign hanging in a Starbucks window while I was out running errands and thought it was cute so I thought I’d share! One of the things I keep in the back of my head, is trying to continue looking at life with fun kid eyes like when I was little.. enjoying the little things, taking time to smell flowers, playing on an awesome swing set, or going and jumping in puddles! I haven’t done many of these things lately so I should really get on it, fun is important. Lately I’ve been trying to inject at least one random fun thing into my days, something that makes me happy. Today I stopped procrastinating and tried out the 7 hour sleep (which turned out great, I feel more energized!) and I went for my morning 2km walk that I haven’t done since the summer. I bundled way up and it was great! Now I’m sitting down to do some work with a warm glass of green tea, I’m addicted to this stuff lately. I’m excited for my birthday on Monday, I still haven’t decided how I’m going to celebrate but maybe you guys can give me some ideas. Off to work!

Today, wow! I’ve been so busy working and teaching myself dreamweaver that I think I forgot to blink for 7 hours. Ok ok I kid, but I did forget to eat today oops! I had a wicked PB&J sandwich a few minutes ago though so my energy levels are back. You know when you get soo hungry that when you do eat something it’s so amazing tasting? Yep, best PB&J sandwich I think I’ve ever tasted. Sometimes work is tiring and a pain in the butt, a lot of people think that running a site like mine is easy and all but I’m here to tell ya it’s a lot of hard work! There’s a lot of planning and tech stuff that goes on behind the scenes, and there’s not a chance I could do it all on my own thank goodness for James! But there are a lot of fun things to do with my site that don’t feel like work at all, like making the photos/vids. Tomorrow I plan on shooting so I’m off to relax in front of the tv and get some much needed rest to look bootiful for the camera tomorrow!

I’ve always loved candles and have loved them even more since living on my own simply because I don’t have people yelling at me for forgetting them lit! Ok so they may have a point, I do forget about them being lit, thankfully these new ones in the living room won’t spill all over and they give off a pretty red glow on my walls. The only other candle I’ve got is on my computer desk and the candle holder is a big chunk of amethyst rock so even if I left the candle for a long time (which I accidently have numerous times) at least it won’t create a fire or spill all over the place. Plus it’s pretty! One of my favorite things are rocks, amethyst and crystals and shiny tigers eye and even salt rocks! My dad and I used to go rock huntin’ when I was a little girl, he taught me how to find the rocks that had the crystals inside and how to break them open, ah memories TGIM – it’s only a week away from my birthday! Weeehooo! I hope I get cheese in a can off of my wishlist Today I’m off to a little health food store for a quick errand today then I am pouring myself into learning dreamweaver!  

Today started off a bit late, I’m trying to get back on a semi normal schedule since I was up Tuesday night until 5am with a stomach ache.. must stop eating out! Fortunately today I’ve got no errands to run for once and it’s just a stay at home and work on the computer day. I even woke up to a few goodies bought for me off my wishlist, and an email from a member which I love getting, and yep it’s me responding back! Even though it’s a work at home day I still love my showers, now that it’s cold outside they’re also for warming up which just doesn’t seem possible in the shower.. you blast the hot water and you seem to be warming up on one side but your skin is still ice cold! I think it’s time to turn up the heat, I keep it 78-80 in here usually, what do you keep it at your house? I’ve got to get todays update done quick like a bunny, I’m excited for it you’re gonna love it! I’m thinking about running out and getting a Tim Hortons coffee yummm!
