Yessss it’s ON NOW!  I made a bet with James, starting Feb 1st 2009 (few days ago).. a competition of who can go the longest without cutting their hair!  You’d think, “Oh Bryci, you’ve got the cat in the bag!  You’re a girl!”  but my friend you may be wrong.  If you’ve been a follower of my blog for a while, you’ve seen me hmm and haw about cutting my hair almost weekly.  I’m really not sure why, I think it’s because I’m such a laid back casual type of person that it just gets in my way when it’s long.  But now I’ve got to suck it up because there’s goodies at the end of this road… whoever wins, grabs a $1000 shopping spree on whatever he/she would like.  To be honest I’m not sure what I’d spend it on, I’m not the type to count my chickens before they hatch… but I am the competitive type, so this will be fun!  You guys have to cheer me on and make sure I don’t fold!

In other news, as I sit here in a towel fresh out of the shower I am considering running to the library to grab a few books for bedtime reading.  I started a new book last night called Paint it Black, and the first couple chapters were really descriptive about blood and guts and murder, ugh.  Not great bedtime reading material.  I picked up a book on Freud’s theories before and tried that before bedtime, yeah… wonky dreams again.  I’m finding I’ve got to stick to my girly fluff books to put me to sleep!
