You know condo/apartment living isn’t that bad, but man can it be annoying sometimes!  For the past 3 days everytime we step into the main hallway, phew!  It smells like a combination of baby diapers, curry, and rotten eggs.  YEAH that bad.  I kid you not, this is what I actually look like walking down my hallway.  Attractive, no?

So I thought I was done Christmas shopping but nooo of course not.  Today was the end of my Star Wars battle thank god.  I had decided I’d like to get my dad the DVD box set of Star Wars for Christmas since he’s only seen the first two, so about a week ago we cruised all over the place looking in every store for these things, and they were all sold out!  So we had to resort to Amazon and thankfully they said they’d get here in time, free shipping too!  So today it said package has been delivered, so off we go to the post office and low and behold it’s not there.. they remember it being there, but have no clue where it is now. You gotta be kidding me!  Sooo we cruised around again and actually found it at Future Shop, then went back to the post office and yeah.. they had found them.  Some Canada Post screw up, jees.  Then back to Future Shop to return the duplicate set… ahhh holidays.

Yesterday we had the task of sending out Christmas cards to close friends and family, this is the first time I’ve ever done that actually!  I had a ton of fun writing out the cards, even though my writing is chicken scratch, at least the friends all over the world will know we lub them  

OH and we watched the movie Seven Pounds last night… yeah, go watch it.  I don’t want to ruin it for anyone, so go see it!  It’s a bit slow but it’s good.   Ciao bella!

Today we braved the weather to go jewelry shopping and finally use a gift certificate I had gotten for my birthday!  I only used half the certificate which means I get to do it all over again!   I love all four of the necklaces that I got, but the circle one is probably my favorite!

Afterwards we had to make a stop at Staples, and then on the way home I was treated to my favorite sushi!  Mmm, I love sushi.. I could eat so much of it!  Today was a lazy day, I wasn’t planning on leaving the house so when we did I remained in my spectacles, which was weird because one of the lenses is an old prescription and wearing my glasses for too long gives me a headache.

I had a really big urge to go play photographer today, with all the beautiful snow and sunny day but ARG the sun sets at 4pm here!  This is just crazy, that is what you get on west coast living!  So tomorrow I’m getting up bright and early and going to hopefully capture some really pretty winter stuff.  Unfortunately I haven’t renewed my license since it expired on my birthday so I’m going to have a promise of cookies in the hopes that James will drive my crazy photo-snappy bum around   Ciao!

Ok ok I know, Christmas shopping is never fun really, you’ve got to brave the crowds and all that… but it’s fun when you end up getting something for yourself as well!  I grabbed a pair of boots, oolala. I also got my mom a comfy new robe with hearts, my brother got a few T-shirts, and my dad is getting the star wars DVD box sets!

Tonight we went out for supper and I grabbed a BBQ cheeseburger and salad, yum!  We got to watch little girl and boy figure skaters too, they were so excited because at this practice they got to skate with Santa!  Then he went and skated up a storm with whirls and jumps.. never knew Santa was a figure skater but I suppose that makes sense!

Now I’m off to wrap presents and catch a late night movie, ciao!

Mmm… today was sushi day, or as we like to call it, Ooshi!  Amazingly enough, the yummiest sushi I’ve tried is found at the mall, so that is where we went today.  It definitely lived up to expectations!

After we were finished, we checked out a few places for the Star Wars dvd box sets as a present for my dad btu couldn’t find any, so we had to order it online.  Hopefully it gets here in time!  We stopped off at the grocery store and made record time, in and out super fast especially with the Christmas crowds! 

I don’t really enjoy Christmas shopping, it seems as though even though this is supposed to be the season of love and giving, that everyone just gets pissed off, turn into horrible drivers, everyone is stressed about money and travelling, I just don’t understand it.  Maybe we should all just skip the presents and just spend time together, that would be good and happy!

Tonight is.. drum roll please… taco night, again!  Yeah, it was that good.. and I’ve figured that since I am now a grown up i don’t have to be responsible.  I can make my grown up decision to eat tacos every single night if I want to, and I plan on it!  Ok ok, maybe not that often.   Off to cook supper, ciao!
