Today I’m on my way home, just got in actually!  Here are some photos of my journeys

Yes you’re jealous, my mom just made marshmellows dipped in carmel sauce, then rolled in rice krispies.  Yum!  I’ve got the recipe if anyone wants it, so good!

That just sounds wrong doesn’t it?  We were out today and for some odd reason playing in the snow even though it was insanely cold, ugh!

So we didn’t make it to see Yes Man the other day but did make it today, it’s such a good movie!  Makes you want to say yes to everything afterwards though.  Headed to the tanning salon afterwards to warm my bum and dance.  Yes, you have to dance when you’re standing in a cubicle naked in a strange building.

I’m now trying to keep my eyes open because I don’t want to nap and screw up my sleep schedule since I’m catching an incredibly early flight on Tuesday morning, must be there by 5:30am, yuck!  But I will get to see family so yay holidays!

Tonight is taco night weehoo… lol but every day has been Mexican delicacy day in my house for the past week or two.  And as bad as it sounds I’m going to be one of those New Years gym bunnies you’ll see crowding the gym hah, or rather just quitting my month.. 2 month long break   So it doesn’t count as a new years resolution.  I made a resolution a few years ago to never make a new years resolution again, and I’ve actually stuck to it! I got my first Christmas present in the mail yesterday and you guessed it, a bread machine!  Normally appliances aren’t at the top of peoples wishlists, but I’ve been wanting one of these bad boys for a while now because bread with butter is probably one of my favorites.  So of course I had to run out and grab the ingredients, and made my first batch of bread this morning!  It has a setting on it so you can set when it will start, so I made it last night and it automatically started baking a few hours before I woke up… fresh home made toast.

It’s the weekend so that means one thing.. cleaning time ugh.  Laundry, dishes, floors and now the mess I made on my stove from baking bread heh!  Oh well it’s definitely worth it!   I think we’re going out to catch Yes Man at the theatres, the new Jim Carrey movie woot!  I’ve wanted to see this for a while.  Off to clean, ciao!

Today we braved the weather to go jewelry shopping and finally use a gift certificate I had gotten for my birthday!  I only used half the certificate which means I get to do it all over again!   I love all four of the necklaces that I got, but the circle one is probably my favorite!

Afterwards we had to make a stop at Staples, and then on the way home I was treated to my favorite sushi!  Mmm, I love sushi.. I could eat so much of it!  Today was a lazy day, I wasn’t planning on leaving the house so when we did I remained in my spectacles, which was weird because one of the lenses is an old prescription and wearing my glasses for too long gives me a headache.

I had a really big urge to go play photographer today, with all the beautiful snow and sunny day but ARG the sun sets at 4pm here!  This is just crazy, that is what you get on west coast living!  So tomorrow I’m getting up bright and early and going to hopefully capture some really pretty winter stuff.  Unfortunately I haven’t renewed my license since it expired on my birthday so I’m going to have a promise of cookies in the hopes that James will drive my crazy photo-snappy bum around   Ciao!
