Last night I attempted to make my own home made sushi.. unfortunately it didn’t turn out the way I was hoping, but you’ve got to start somewhere right?  Practice makes perfect, so tomorrow night I’m going to try to make some more, this time with salmon.  I’m also going to try some sashimi (just slices of uncooked salmon) and some nigiri (fish on top of a rice bed).  Yumm sushi….

I’m in the middle of my Jenna Jameson book, and I literally can’t put it down.  I went to bed reading it last night, and woke up and spent two hours reading it before I even got out of bed!  I definitely recommend grabbing it, it’s a good read so far.  I’m just happy the girl has come out on the winning end of life, especially with two little twin babies on the way!  Woohoo!

Today we went to the mall for some sushi (I’m obsessed) and had to wade through the sea of teeny kids trick or treating.  Do they do this where you live, trick or treating at the mall?  I’ve seen it done my whole life, I love going just to watch the little kids having such a great time, but this year it was insane!  You could barely walk, it was way worse than Christmas shopping!

Tonight we’re ordering some yummy pizza and watching a movie or two, and of course munching out on the Halloween candy we bought.  We were going to see Zach and Miri make a porno, since tonight was the first night it was in theatres, but I’ve got to tell ya.. I slept really funny last night and have an intense kink in my back that is killing me!  I definitely want to check it out though, maybe we can see it tomorrow afternoon.  Anyway have a happy halloween!

Hey guys, I know I haven’t been blogging a lot lately, my world has been sort of topsy turvy so I’ve been keeping very busy to stay sane. 

Yesterday I got my new antique desk delivered, it is very pretty!  Very sturdy and well made as well, should last a very long time.

I’m having.. troubles with my mom lately and we haven’t spoken, but today I got an email from her about my puppy.  She is very sick and getting old, about 15 years old.  My mom told me that she will probably have to be put down tomorrow.

I can’t remember life without my puppy, and it’s going to be hard.

Tonight I watched the movie, The Last Samurai with Tom Cruise and it was amazing.  I love Japanese culture, in fact I love all cultures.   I’d definitely recommend it if you haven’t seen it.

I’m off to bed to hopefully get a good nights sleep.

Ok ok, the title does sound a bit more exciting than what this post is actually about.  I ordered in Jenna’s book from my library and it finally got here!  I picked it up and I can’t wait to start reading it!  It’s actually huge, but with lots of photos.  It’s called, How to make love like a pornstar, and I plan on starting it tonight!

Today I’ve been feeling a bit geeky, if you’ve noticed I tweaked a few things around the place!  I’m also figuring out how to set up a mailing list, so it’s easier for me to let you all know just when I open up my site!

I’m also trying to decide when I’ll be visiting family for Christmas, ugh such a drama filled time of year.  I never really enjoyed it to be honest, I much prefer Halloween!  And this year I’m not even doing anything fun, bah! Next year I do plan on going on a pub crawl or to a spooky party, but we’ll have to see when the time comes.

Good news though, I’m feeling much better today!  I tried to sleep with the humidifer on last night and that was just a no-go, but I think I might give it another try.  I really hope I can stop being such a light sleeper!

Yes I am sick, and it sucks!  I’ve been feeling as though I’m fighting something for the past few days and yesterday I finally acknowledged it and I’m now just resting to get better asap!  Today we bundled up and took off to the store to grab a humidifier, in hopes that it will sooth my sore throat during the night, and also make enough noise for that “white noise” effect because someone snores   My ears are too little to be able to wear earplugs so they hurt, so I’m trying out a different solution, I’ll let you know how it goes!

On the way there we passed this awesome old truck that just looks rad!  I so want to do a photo shoot in front of it some day!   Very cool looking don’t you think?

Now I am off to curl up on the couch in front of the tv, and munch on some cheesies yum!  What are you up to on this cozy Sunday?  Ciao!

Last night you all probably heard me screaming no matter where you live.  I could not sleep and I was so frustrated!  I’d get 99% to sleep then something would wake me up.  A dream, being too hot, too cold, a noise!  I guess I just wasn’t tired enough when I went to bed or I would have fallen right to sleep hey!

Last night was date night (see that was me getting ready!) and we went to the Keg for steak supper, yum!  Now normally I would never go near steak or meat for the most part (spare a cheeseburger here or there) but we saw a commercial on tv a few weeks ago and have been dreaming of steak supper for a while so out we went!  I ordered a little sirloin and a baked potato, it was yummy!  My favorite part was probably the BBQ sauce though, I’m definitely a sauce lover. 

Today it was a track day!  I’ve started going to the running track by my place, it’s indoors so it keeps me nice and toasty instead of being outside with cold ears!  I decided to put my new Nike runners to use and so far they have been serving me well.  Afterwards it was off to this amazing little antique store that I found nestled in with a bunch of other shops, I had never even seen it before!  But I found it, and in it I found a perfect computer desk which I bought and will be arriving on Monday evening!  I am so so so excited!  I will definitely take a photo when it gets here for you.  I’m also planning a trip around to garage sales or thrift store to see if I can find some cool antique candle holders to match, we will see!

For now I am off to enjoy my Saturday night in (I really do love being a homebody) and I’m going to try to stay away from the sweets as much as I can.. though I plan on caving in heh   Have a good weekend!
